Winter/Spring Programme 2018

5th January: AG.M. Election of Chairman, vice chairman, treasurer, auditors, secretary and other committee members.

Setting of Programme for Winter term.

12th January: Slide show of Tom Crowe competition entries followed by an introduction to 'Salon' entries.
19th January: Two presentations, firstly 'Woodlands through the seasons' followed by 'Street Photography'. We are then challenged to supply our own images for presentation on 2nd February.
26th January: A practical evening demonstrating various mounting techniques followed by the drawing of lots in the 'Snippet challenge' - each member brings in a word or a phrase from a newspaper or magazine and these are put into a hat, every member then draws a challenge from the hat and has to interpret that in a series of 4 digital images to be presented on 16th March.
2nd February: A digital image 'in house critique' following the themes of 19th January 'Woodland through the seasons' and 'Street photography'. Up to 4 images per member to be supplied on a memory stick on the night.
9th February: Demonstration and interaction of basic Photoshop skills. 1 image per member in RAW format only to be supplied on a memory stick on the night.
16th February: A digital image 'in house critique' on the theme of Valentines. Up to 4 images per member to be supplied on a memory stick on the night.
23rd February: Closed (Half Term)
2nd March: A practical evening setting up of lights, flash syncing and backdrops for studio portraiture.
2nd March: Practical evening 'Portraiture'
16th March: A digital image 'in house critique' following the themes set in the 'Snippet Challenge' on 26th January. Up to 4 images per member to be supplied on a memory stick on the night.
